Last night I went sledding with my friend Nate (see black man in picture above) and on my first run down the hill apparently I got about 8ft of air and broke my ankle. He then carried me across the park where we were at to my car. When we got to the part where we had to go up hill a couple of guy including a bishop helped carry me up the hill and to my car. First we tried Urgent Care that was pretty close but for some reason their xray machine was down.... Talk about bad luck.
So we went to the InstaCare at the hospital. We were waiting for over an hour.. and I didn't see much other people in the hospital so I don't know what took so long. I don't understand health care. Why does it take so long? In the mean time I am in so much pain and my ankle is so swollen it look disgusting. Thank goodness I didn't take a picture of that. They didn't even give me any pain meds either. The doctor just told me to take ibprophan.
They finally took some xrays and I have a broken bone. My first broken bone in my whole life. Its on the big bone in my leg and its not a very big break but the doctor said that is right where the muscle attaches to the bone so if it doesn't heal right I could have lots of problems.
I now have crutches which I suck at using. I had to google how to go up stairs with crutches... and I can't work cause I'm a server at a restaurant and walking is pretty necessary... So now I need to find a desk job for a while and I hate desks job. I won't even be able to exercise for a while and I love exercising. It keeps me sane sometimes.
This is going to be a long boring 6 weeks.... I can see myself getting depressed because of this... Thank goodness for good friends!
